Do you really love The Lord and God Jesus Christ?

Jesus said,"If you love Me, keep My commandments."John 14:15


He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him. John 14:21


And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. 1 Corinthians 13:3


Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. 4 He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. 6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked. 1 John 2:3-6


If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? 1 John 4:20-21


once again do you really Love God? How do you know?

Do you really love The Lord and God Jesus Christ?
Yes I do, and I know I must believe Him and obey Him to be saved, healed and delivered. I count it all as Joy. Its not hard to turn from sin if you are truly born again, because we will hate sin as much as God does.


How do we know if we love God? IF we will do as He says, and love Him because we love Him, then we will know we love God But if our desires are still of the world, then we dont truly love God, or trust Him.


God is clear on that...

We are motivated basically 3 different ways.


We have to or be punished


We need to ( work comes to mind.I do not like to but I need the money)


Or the other motivation is that we want to. Jesus is appealing to the last motivation. If you love me you will keep my commandments. That should be all the motivation that we need. Our love for the Lord. After all we love him because he first loved us.

Reply:No I do not, and if you were to do some research you would find that the whole Jesus story stems from Egypt 2000 years before his so called birth, there is absolutely not one shred of evidence that he ever existed, Man is such a dumb a-ss, it's an Egyptian story, and there never was any truth to it, even back then they saw one hell of a money maker, and the dumb people bought it how ironic is that.

Reply:Yes I do, because He first loved me. When he came into my life and sealed me with His Holy Spirit, he gave me a genuine love for others who are lost just as I once was. Answers is a good place to see whether or not the love of Christ abides in you, because if you don't feel any genuine concern and love for the folks on here who are blind, lost, and going to hell, then you obviously don't love God. John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son." God loved and still loves a lost and dying world, so much, that He came to earth in the form of the man Jesus Christ and took the punishment for our sin! God loves me even when I'm not "lovable", and we, my fellow Christians, should feel and do the same to everyone we come into contact with. To only love those in our lives who are "lovable", is not the kind of love the Bible speaks of that flows from Christ. I see so called "Christians" cursing and swearing out of hatred on this site all the time, and it is such a disgrace and discouragement to not only those of us who are Christians, but to Christ Himself. Not one time did you hear Jesus curse or swear at His persecutors, but instead prayed for them and ask the Father to "forgive them for they know not what they do." Peace
Reply:Surrounded by lost souls are we. This is why it is difficult to stay on the path in these end days. And justly so as it is written. I believe those of us remaining alive must cling to the sides of this toilet with every last drop of faith. I try hard to keep the commandments. I am not perfect and I always ask forgiveness for sins I catch myself committing. I would never commit the two worst sins which are adultery and murder. But I have once robbed and slept with a married woman. I was weak. I am penitent and faithful. I believe I do the best I can. I really do love Jesus. Amen brothers and sisters. Life is too short to live without hope.
