Why do people fall in love?

I do not see the point of love. I have never wanted to and I fear love. I try my best to avoid it and block every attempt of a girl trying to make a fool out of me and try to make me fall in love. I will not love someone because I don't give up to other people. Love would be like a war to me. I would fight the person trying to get to me, and I would win. Everything is a war to me. I despise and fear love. I could not ever do anything for anyone else, and I have never EVER told anyone I love them, not even my parents. My head would explode from rage if someone said they loved me. I don't want anyone to love me. If I did happen to get a girl, I would never tell her I love her. If she told me she loved me, I would punch her. My goal is not to love someone, it's to win wars. I have never even tried love, but I hate it anyway. I hate it because I am goofy looking and I gave up years ago trying to find a girl because I found out how goofy love is and I knew everyone would laugh at me if I s

Why do people fall in love?
Wow, do you punch your parents too? I'm sure they love you! Why are you filled with hatred? I guess it's because you don't know just how sweet love really is. Sometimes you can't stop your heart from falling in love. The man that I am with now I love unconditionally and it's the only reason that I'm the the happiest person on earth. Yes, I've had my heart broken before and I'll be the first to admit, it hurts...but what war did I lose? None! Love isn't a battle, not at all. I guess you're just a lonely person, I'm sorry to hear that. Maybe you should give someone a chance, they aren't as bad as they seem. I'm sure you're not "goofy looking." There is a different person for everyone out there. Although you think you look goofy, I'm sure that you really don't. Don't think that about yourself...you have to respect yourself for other people to respect you. Love isn't bad, I promise. My boyfriend showed me that love is the best thing in the world...and you'll never really understand love if you never fall in love. It's amazing, it's uncomparable...it's just the best feeling in the world. How are you ever going to live without any passion in your life? I'm telling you, love makes life easier and it makes you happy. There is a point in love, to make you happy. Love isn't defined as a war of the heart! Why are you so abusive? You would PUNCH a girl?!?! Oh my gosh, what a wuss you are. What ***** punches a girl for saying the nicest thing she could ever say? Come on man...you can't do anything like that! Trust me, you do want someone to love you...you do. You don't have to let your guard down...but you'll be happy if you do.

You're attracted to someone because of who they are. People also fall in love and stay with the people they are with because they care for them, and might need someone to be there for them at any time. Oh, and looks don't matter to most girls, after they have met you. I have seen so many handsome guys sitting there all alone because they are total jack***** to nerds and other people. Then the "nerds" have the beautiful girls because they are good people. (Wow, I think I went off topic again.)

Reply:Yes, you are missing out on the greatest aspect of life.People need to be around other people, It's part of our nature. Perhaps you should try this in small doses. Avoiding human contact is not the way to go. We are not promised to this world, and when your life comes and goes right beneath your feet, you will look back and wished you had taken the chance to open your heart and allow that one person to love you.

Reply:sounds like u have some anger and commitment issues.........love is great, y wouldnt u want it?? sure u have a huge risk of getting hurt, but isnt it worth it?? its like that saying "it is better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all" anyway, love just happens whether u want it or not, it isnt really something u can control....
