Love being loved or...?

i cant tell if i love my boyfriend of 3 months, or just love being loved...like, i feel like i love him, but im not sure. i feel more sure about it when he holds me or stuff like that...but im wondering- am i in love or am i in love with being loved? is this right?

it sounds like it usually u feel more of the "love" when your around him because you feel comfortable and relaxed and thats what your thinking about is him

There is no way to tell other than looking at the signs. Do you think about him? Would you miss him if he was gone? Evaluate how you feel about it, what is it that you love? Etc.
Reply:If you have to wonder if you are in love then you are not in love, why are you rushing this love thing, just hang out with him and have fun with him, and when you two do fall in love you wont have to ask this question because you will know that you are in love. And if you don't fall in love it wasn't meant to be. Just relax and let love come to you, don't go out searching for it.

Reply:Im currently feeling the same way with my boyfriend of 15 months. When you aer with him there is not doubt in your mind that you love this boy. When you are apart you wonder if you truly love him or just love the idea of having a boyfriend, planning a future, and having someone to hold you. If this is the case what will happen when you go off to college. you may go without seeing him for many months. Would your feelings remain the same? If so then stay with this guy. But if you really have to question your feelings then i would really consider breaking up with him. I know how hard the position you are in is. Cause im there myself and i have been with this guy for over a year. So i hope everything works out and let me know what happens.

Reply:to be honest, 3 months is still a short time frame... maybe you just dont know much about him and cant decide if love is the right word... its always nice being held and being loved... but you should feel the same way back.. does he make you smile?? laugh?? do you always think about him? do you always want him around and does your family like him and do you like his family?? consider some of these points.. love is a tricky thing... love is letting yourself be you and letting him see the real you.. has this happend already in 3 months?? maybe you are infatuated. and you just love that he loves you.. these are some things you can consider.

If you do and it's mutual, give and take then I would say it could evolve into A Loving relationship. For me 3 months would not be long enough to truly tell if we would be compatible in the long term, I think it takes at least a year of spending time with anyone to truly know them well and all their moods. Don't rush too fast. Take your time!
