Do you think that love is real?

I dont.


My friends tell each other they love each other, but then sometimes they get in fights and never speak again to each other.. not love.


I see people dating and both say they are in love, than things change and they become "friends". not love.


I saw my aunt and uncle divorce because they said they fell out of love so wouldnt that mean there is no such thing as love?


My mom used to tell me she loved me, but now she doesnt, instead she says she hates me, but then tells my younger sister she loves her... not love, but lie.


People in this world tell ppl they care tell ppl they love, but then in the end all they end up caring about is themselves.


What do you think? Do you believe in love? Or do you think it is bologna ?

Love is only a feeling the encompasses your head and heart.


It is not real in that you can see it or touch it. Love is a person's way of saying they care about you and wish to include you in all aspects of their life. If people say they love and then fight, it is not love but affection. You sound very sad and in need of a long, caring hug. You don't need to search for love from someone else if you have peace in your heart.


You will live your life just fine, without searching for the invisible sensation of love.

Reply:I think you're going through a really rough time and I'm sorry. Life isn't easy sometimes but it does get better. Do I sound like a greeting card yet, sorry your not feeling well, we miss you. I don't want to come off corny but it's all true tomorrow is another day. Yeah love does exist for however long or short it is and love is different for each person and can not be defined. I've been in love several times and fallen out of love, my heart was broken my feelings bruised, by my family, boyfriends, friends, and i learned from it but I didn't close down. Young friends saying it, they are just learning life's lessons. Dating is also a learning experience, brings you closer to realizing what love is and what it is not. Aunt and uncles, moms and dads, yes it does happen, you fallout of love, doesn't mean it wasn't there in the first place. Mom, well moms have it hard and maybe she just got pushed to her limits, did you help to escalate the argument?, I'm not saying it doesn't hurt when she says it but she does love you and she will come around but it takes two. We will never receive unconditional love in our lives no matter how bad we want it, people have their own issues they are dealing with and sometimes it causes them to judge or argue with us but it doesn't mean they don't love us and yes sometimes love is as fleeting as other emotions such as anger, happiness, sadness, joy,....But it does exist. HTH! GL!

Reply:i do beleive in love i fell in love very young and since that moment i knew it was real now we been together for almost 7 years and we still love each other the same. sometimes they say true love is hard to find but be patient it is real and not only in relationships when u have your own children you'll know what it's like to love becuase it's something so pure and so innocent well at least that's what i feel for my 3 yr old son and my husband maybe i was one of the licky ones that find it sooner than others so don't give up you'll know when its's real. hope i helped.
Reply:Love is real, in that I am sure. You are right though, people throw the word around carelessly and you can tell alot about a person by the way they use it. Love has different meanings to different people. In response to people only caring about themselves I think that to care about others you have to love yourself, unfortunately alot of people never get to the point where they can care about anyone but themselves. Don't lose hope because love is out there and I'm sure one day it will find you.

I love my friends, yes they can be ignorant.. but I still respect them.


I love my family, without them I would not be who I am today. They have given me my morals, my basic views on life, etc.

Reply:The problem you are facing is that people call something love that is not love. I understand your disillusionment with love. From your experience and definition of love, you can easily conclude that love is finite.


Love is not finite. It is eternal and timeless. It is unchanging. It is our very essence. You cannot fall out of love because you ARE love. How can you fall out of yourself? Sit with the truth that you are, and you will know Love, and you will know yourself in the process.

Reply:i believe in love. all your friends that say they "love" eachother are just saying that so they can become good friends; ppl who say the are in love, and break up the next day, were faking it, they knew deep inside they werent in love; your mom really does love you, she may not like you but she does love you, believe me.
