Difference between love and IN love?

i was reading some of the other topics about this. My boyfriend told me he loves me, and wants to be with me, but he isn't sure if he is IN love with me. We are in a long distance and have been for about 7 months out of our more than a year and half relationship. he says when he sees me he feels IN love but when we are apart it's different and he's confused.





I read this one answer from another questions and it kinda clicked.. tell me if u agree... this is what he said





When he says he loves his sister, that's one way, when he says he loves me it's a completely different thing.





Being IN love, to him, is that sexual and physical attraction of the person you love, since we don't see each other often cuz of the distance there is nothing to see, so the feeling isn't there, but he still loves me because he knows he does. When he sees me that physical and sexual attraction comes back cuz i'm there...

Difference between love and IN love?
You can become in love with the opposite sex in like a few weeks to a months or probably less! On the other hand, to love someone takes time. You will have to be with this person through a lot of trials and tribulations and after it all and you two are still together, then you too love each other! Love in deeper than in love! Being in love is sort of superficial!
