Love song/so much love?

why do the songs "so much love" by the rocket summer and "love song" by sarah bareilles sound so similar?


like the piano intro?





i'm totally loving "so much love" a lot more. i've had more than enough of "love song on the radio, and basically everywhere i go, but that's besides the point.





which one do you guys like better?


and have you noticed this similarity?


everytime i ehar the intro to "love song" on the radio (every 10 minutes) i'm like ahh! the rocket summer! but it's always such a bummer.

Ha, I just listened to them and they do sound really similar! I've never noticed before. But I definitely like the rocket summer better. They're amazing.
Reply:i heard the beginning of love song on the radio and i freaked out nad told my step mom to turn it up and then i was like. oh, it's not the rocket summer. it's just that stupid song. :) Report It

Reply:Yeah I have noticed the similiarity, but they are of same genres. I like The Rocket Summer better because of the male vocals. I can't stand female ones for some reason.
