What really is love? I never really grew up with that as far as I know. All I got was orders don't do or

else remarks like: children should be seen and not heard. Even the bible doesn't explain love just more don't does in the 10 commandments. Is the word love just a word like normal that doesn't really mean anything? Just words to control society? Even Reiki talks of love but what is love? Please don't give me the Christ talk cause that's just the 10 commandments thing. I want to really know what is Love.

Can anyone explain Love to me? Oh I do have a pet cat

what she wants seems to come first but she is kissy when I'm trying to sleep at nights. I like my cat alot is that love?

No one has ever defined Love to me. The dictionary says:

Love is the opposite of Hate. I look up the word Hate and it says the opposite of Love. that didn't tell me anything!

What really is love? I never really grew up with that as far as I know. All I got was orders don't do or
I guess it something you feel.?And the "New WEBSTER'S DICTIONARY have 900thousand-billion ways LOVE of LOVE means of the word love. But really and truely love is something that you feel.
Reply:Truly insufficient doesn't tell me a thing of love.

What does love mean what is love? Seems like just a buzz word no one knows what it means! Report It

Reply:Go to 1Corinthians13 in the new testament.
Reply:Love is the caring or concern of another or your own self for another or your own self. Love is the behaviour which defies nature and the laws of nature, but love is also natural. Love is a paradox.

Love is the opposite of evil. Love is life. Love is living and wanting to live. Love is dying and accepting death with grace. Love is when I care for you even when I don't know you. Love is one or more sharing with a stranger. Love is when family is truly thicker than water, but love is also when one knows a stranger can be kind even when one's own family disowns one.

Love could be the opposite of hate, but there is also a thin line between love and hate.

Liking your cat much may not be love at all, but a tie which has formed in that your cat gives you affection when you care for it. Love is involved, but there is more to a tie between one being and another. And the ties which bind us don't totally describe love or hate or obligation or debt.

Love is not controlling, but liberating.

Meaning is given to any word, including love, by those who use the word. If you made up a language, and gave it meaning, then you are attaching meaning to those words of that language.

I could say "ababa" to mean "love." Another person might say "I love you" and not really mean it. But I could say "Ana ababa ti" meaning "I love you," and if I mean it, then at least I know what I am saying. You might know it if someone taught you the meaning. So the teaching of meaning is essential to the understanding of truth.
