Love-Hate relationship, or nothing but Love?

A friend and I were having a debate. What is real love? Is it when...





A.) You adore someone and can find little to no fault in them. Everything must be romantic and the "forever" kind of love. You can never stay mad at them and the only emotion involved is LOVE.





or...





B.) You love this person, but you also want to strangle them. Their numerous faults wear on your last nerve, but even after being tempted to choke the life out of them, you love them endlessly.





My friend argued for point A, insisting that she couldn't stay mad at her girlfriend and that even after 3 years they were romantic and thought each other was perfect. I argued for point B, because even thought I have not been in a 3 year relationship, I have never seen love as something so... sappy. The person I adore, I also want to kill on many occasions, seeing as he is a pain in my **** and one of the dumbest human beings I've ever known. I'm in love with his insides, though.

Lol....you are so funny. I agree with you though. I think no matter how much you love someone, if you spend alot of time with them you are bound to disagree on something or fight. Ive been with my boyfriend for seven years and sometimes he annoys the hell out of me, but at the end of the day, it's him who i wanna be with.
Reply:Love means accepting and respecting each other with mutually agreed level or percentage.
Reply:i think i would have to agree with B. Becuase no one is perfect like that. Me and my bf dont get in fights (we've had one misunderstanding out of the whole almost year we've been dating), but there are days where he gets on my nerves and irritates me, and i know there are days where i get on his nerves or something like hat. so i'd have to agree with B.
Reply:Well, I think that in a relationship I would consider point A being in love with someone. I do agree that point B is love, but to me I think of that as more like the love I have for my mother. I love her, but she get's on my last nerves sometimes. I hope this settles your debate.
