Dose love really exicst?

True love is real... it's not something that society can encourage or discourage. Love is human nature and true love exists in every culture and society, from parent to child, husband to wife, etc.


don't know actually. whether there is such a thing as "true love" is a question that has been preying on my mind a fair bit lately actually. im pretty sure I don't believe in the fairy tale stuff. I think real love is a different, more boring, but stable and fulfilling thing.. maybe.. I do think people are too hung up on finding a "soulmate" though. so many people spend so much time in their lives stressing or crying or trying or wondering about their true love, that they dont bother to just go out and enjoy and appreciate and love their life and friends and family and those relationships, NOW


I know true love is real. Its an emotion that you can feel deep down inside and no one can take away from you

Reply:Yes love does exist. Some people search for love in all the wrong places like getting love confused with lust or physical emotion. Love is such a strange thing in life, I've run across a few bad apples and come to find out my true love has been with all along, he was my friend who liked since my sophomore year and always comforted me and encouraged me in a lot of things. Sometimes love finds you, or you just run across love. Some people find it sooner some find it later in life. Some people just give up and just say love does not exist, especially in our society today where our generation is the most stressed where money, jobs, and other things that stress us out makes it hard to find it. But honestly love still exist. :)

Reply:Wow your really smart. I totally understand what you mean. You are right people shouldn't spend their whole life searching for their true love. You should go out and enjoy, appreciate and love life but sooome people just don't realize what they are missing out on because they try to hard to find that special someone. Yes there is such a thing as true love. You will eventually find that right person you just have to wait and don't push it. It will come to you in time. But yes until you do have that special connection with someone and when your ready for that you should do exactly what you said. Live your life and enjoy every moment and appreciate your surroundings. Just don't get to stuck on searching for your soulmate, like you said before. So I have a question for you just out of curiousity why did you ask if love really existed if you just explained it? Because you know the answer to that question.

Reply:I think true does exist and I believe that people do have soulmates. And I also believe as you stated that searching for your "true love" or "soul mate" should not negate you from as you stated appreciating the relationships you currently have.
Reply:Yes it does. Unfortunately, most of us have to meet a few bad apples before meeting the love of our lives but that just makes you appreciate him/her more when you do.

Reply:Of couse love exists when you find yourself embracing every concievable type of love for a person...when you are each others parents (you nurture each other), children( you learn from each other ), lovers, friends. When you can agree on what to do together with your lives and enjoy just hanging out with each other...when you are completely honest and the other person still loves you (despite your flaws). When you look at the idea of being 80 years old and all you can think is that you hope your husband is with you then too....that's love
