Love fades with time?

What is love? I've heard a couple of times that love fades with time. Love is eternal, right... so how can it fade with time. I belive the "Love fades with time" is just a quote from an ignorant individual who wasn't really in love but thought he was. Then he ruined it for everyone else cause now society believes love fades with time. If time is an illusion, a man-made simple measurement and its just an illusion, how can love fade if there is no such thing as time?

Love is nothing but an idea. Yeah ive felt all the lovey dubby stuff, and the feeling is great. Im not anti-love or anti-relationships, but the fact remains that love isnt a real thing. Its just the name we give to a feeling.





Besides all that, the word love has lost a lot of its former and deeper meaning. Anybody can say it and not mean it. Its spoken as easily as "What's up". I think its lost its value. So in that sense, it indeed has faded with time.





"ignorant individual who wasn't really in love but thought he was": thats what being IN love is, its what you think love to be. Anyone and everyone can easily fall IN love: its all the bubbly feelings of being really attracted to someone you are with. But really loving someone for who they are, no matter their faults, etc. is the greater, more developed level of love. Its a lot easier to be in love than to actually love someone.





Im not even sure if that makes sense, but its what i go by. Never tell a teen they dont know what love is, for as far as they know, thats what it is. Amd they are in love, but they probably dont really LOVE each other quite yet.

True love puts God first %26amp; foremost %26amp; lets His love then flow thru us even to 'the unlovely'





Even to enemies





Hell is far worse than even Armageddon, as it's eternal,conscious torment, as in Revelation 20 %26amp; Mathew 13 etc





I wouldn't wish that on my worse enemy





Yet how many tell 'the one' they 'love for life' to go to Hell?








With no way of salvation offered before it's too late





Many who say they know Jesus put His 2nd commandment as first, when the 1st is vital to empower the 2nd

Only then will you truly be able to 'love your neighbour as yourself'

but what fades away with time is physical attraction, love, if true, grows and becomes stronger with time...
Reply:Malarkey!. It not only fades...It sometimes vanishes after rusting and fading.





And if you think time doesn't exist...try lookingfor a paycheck when you don't work.
