Love is for everyone?

I believe that you should fall in love with whoever you fall in love with, regardless of their ethnicity, nationality, skin color, creed, or culture. I think the days when people had to date or marry "inside their group" is long gone. I will fall in love with whoever. If I fall in love with someone of my own race, great. If I fall in love with someone of another race, great.





I don't care what my parents and relatives think and I don't care about what her parents or relatives will think. I think tradition is absolute b.s when it comes to dating and marriage, and it needs to go away. Love is blind. It has no color, nationality, or creed. I think we need to go away from the b.s. of traditional dates and marriages.





My parents are very critical about me dating someone of another race. But you know what, fu** them. I don't give a sh**. Disown me if you want, I don't care I'm an adult anyway. You can't control my love life.

really gr8 thinking. u r doing a gr8 thing. i wish everyone thinks that way.. and yeah i wish parents aren't really so narrow minded. but unfortunately u like it or not.. they think and hope for good things for u. so they are bound to get apprehensive. u cant blame them. just be happy with ur love and they'll eventually turn around and accept u with her

Reply:I'm half asian and half white. I went on a date with a black guy and my mom freaked out talking about interracial couples and mixed children. I was like...wtf am I???? I wish parents would make more sense. And maybe think before they talk.

Reply:I agree with you, my parents want me to do the same, they're already talking about me getting married to so and so and im only 15, its soooooo stupid. I dont think your parents have anything at all to do with your relationships, cuz its all your business, ya know? my parents are sorta racist like that too, like I can't hang out with ppl of another race and stuff, but that is sooooooooo freaking DUMB. thank you ^_^
